Its unique form allows safe high speed flight, but its design allows it to operate from small light aircraft airfields. The Shark has proven itself with 2 “around the World” flight successes without problems, Zara and her brother Marc Rutherford both hold world records for their efforts otherwise not possible without the Shark aircraft.
With a take-off distance at sea level with 20* of flaps to clear a 50 foot obstacle being 210m and clear landing roll with 30* flaps 150m it makes it the perfect all round aircraft.

For Long Range Cruise expect a speed of 155mph (135Kt) and a fuel burn of 12l/hour with a typical distance of 1560 miles, whereas Fast Cruise will give you 180mph (156Kt) a fuel burn of 21l/hour and a range of 1200 miles, when fitted with the 150l fuel tanks. So those trips to your overseas home suddenly become totally viable from your home airfield, no more driving, parking and fighting the masses of commercial airports.
