Safety systems in aircraft are critical, and the SHARK offers the best.
The SHARK, is manufactured and tested to aircraft build standards for various countries, including the United Kingdom BCAR S standards, probably the best aircraft build standards in the world. Its innovative cockpit structure which surrounds both pilot and co-pilot is similar in concept to race car design is carefully constructed from Carbon fibre and Kevlar creating a safety cell. Fitted as standard with a BRS (Ballistic Recovery System) which in the event of an emergency can be deployed to parachute the complete aircraft to safety.
So safe that SHARK has been the aircraft of choice for 2 record breaking solo flights around the world by Zara and Mac Rutherford.
Technology, the SHARK is a technology lead aircraft design. This has never been more visible to the pilot and co-pilot than with the integration of its IMC capable flight instruments by Dynon or Garmin in both front and rear cockpits, with back up conventional flight instruments. Both systems being interlinked and coupled to both radio, transponder, TCAS and separate OBLO flybox for redundancy. To increase safety and comfort and reduce fatigue a full autopilot system is integrated which can be operated in isolation to the EFIS systems or linked for full autonomy.
